As a leading global event in the HVAC and refrigeration industry, AHR EXPO 2026 officially opened on February 2, 2026, at the Las Vegas Convention Center. MFrontier proudly showcased its core sensor solutions for HVAC systems at the exhibition, located at booth C1448 in the Central Hall. This exhibition served not only as a barometer of industry trends but also as an excellent platform for MFrontier to present its latest technological achievements in A2L & A3 refrigerant safety monitoring and indoor air quality management.

Core Exhibit: Refrigerant Leak Monitoring Solutions for A2L & A3 Refrigerants
With increasingly stringent global environmental regulations, A2L and A3 refrigerants with low global warming potential (GWP) values (such as R32, R454B, R1234yf, etc.) are being rapidly adopted in new generations of HVAC and refrigeration equipment. However, their slight flammability poses unprecedented challenges for system safety monitoring.
To address this challenge, MFrontier is prominently showcasing two meticulously designed series of refrigerant leak sensors at this exhibition:
MGS11 Series Compact A2L & A3 Refrigerant Sensors: This series of sensors is specifically designed for accurate and reliable refrigerant leak detection. It can effectively detect refrigerants including R32, R454A/B/C, R290, and R134A.
MGD11 Series Miniature A2L & A3 Refrigerant Sensors: While ensuring high performance, this series achieves a smaller package size, providing great convenience for equipment manufacturers to integrate high-level safety monitoring functions in space-constrained designs.
Both products demonstrate MFrontier's technological strength, featuring high accuracy, excellent long-term stability, built-in pressure and temperature compensation functions, and fast response speed. Notably, they have successfully passed the rigorous IEC/UL 60335-2-40 dual safety certification, providing manufacturers of commercial air conditioners, central air conditioners, and various refrigeration units with reliable assurance of compliance with international safety standards, helping customers' products quickly enter the global market.

Extended Solution: Creating a Healthy and Intelligent Indoor Air Environment
Beyond the core refrigerant safety monitoring solution, MFrontier deeply understands the growing demand for higher indoor air quality in modern buildings. Therefore, at this exhibition, we are also showcasing comprehensive air quality monitoring solutions, aiming to create a healthier and more comfortable intelligent environment.
NDIR CO₂ Sensor: Utilizing non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) technology, this sensor accurately measures indoor carbon dioxide concentration, providing crucial data for intelligent linkage with fresh air systems to achieve the optimal balance between energy saving and comfort.
PM2.5 Sensor: This sensor monitors fine particulate matter concentration in the air in real time, serving as a core component for automatic operation and visualization of air purifiers and fresh air systems.
Multi-in-One Air Quality Sensor: A highly integrated solution that simultaneously monitors multiple air parameters (temperature, humidity, CO2 concentration, PM2.5 mass concentration, VOC concentration, etc.), simplifying system design and providing customers with a one-stop solution for air quality sensing.

Innovation Highlight: Infrared Thermopile Array Sensor and its Applications
At this exhibition, MFrontier also showcased its brand-new product – THE INFRARED THERMOPILE ARRAY SENSOR.
Manufactured using advanced CMOS-MEMS technology, this product integrates multiple thermopile temperature sensing elements and ASIC signal processing circuits, enabling non-contact detection of object surface temperature and generating real-time thermal distribution images in an array format.
Compared to traditional single-point sensors, the infrared thermopile array sensor represents a revolutionary leap in sensing capabilities: it can not only detect moving people and objects, but also detect the position, movement direction, and precise surface temperature of stationary people and objects, and even detect hand movements. It can be widely applied in smart homes, intelligent lighting, smart buildings, HVAC equipment, automobiles, IP/surveillance cameras, and other fields.
This innovative technology opens up a new path for intelligent upgrades in the HVAC field, such as enabling dynamic airflow based on real-time personnel distribution and body temperature (PAD), and non-contact temperature monitoring and predictive maintenance of key equipment such as compressors.
