On July 1, electronica Shanghai 2026 kicked off in grand style at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre! The exhibition has expanded to cover an area of 120,000 square meters, bringing together over 2,000 high-quality domestic and international exhibitors and attracting tens of thousands of industry professionals.
MFrontier's booth (N3.307) drew a large crowd, with numerous customers visiting to engage and exchange ideas.
Infrared Thermopile Array Sensors: The Center of Attention!
At this exhibition, MFrontier is publicly showcasing its latest 32x32 and 48x48 infrared thermopile array sensors for the first time, featuring real-time thermal imaging demonstrations.

This new product leverages advanced monolithic MEMS-CMOS integration technology to incorporate scalable sensing units—arranged in a matrix—into a high-density infrared sensing array. By utilizing POST-CMOS etching processes, ASIC circuitry (handling signal amplification, A/D conversion, and data processing) is integrated directly with the MEMS component within a single package. This streamlined architecture and reduced power consumption effectively enhance the sensor's interference immunity and operational stability, marking a significant advancement in infrared temperature measurement and imaging technology.
Technical engineers were on-site throughout the event to engage in in-depth discussions with visitors from sectors such as smart automotive, industrial automation, and new energy. Conversations covered a wide range of applications, including smart cockpit scenarios—such as thermal comfort management, intelligent window defogging, and in-cabin occupant detection—as well as industrial safety use cases like predictive equipment maintenance, monitoring of high-risk furnaces and kilns, and intelligent unmanned inspections. The exhibit drew a steady stream of inquiries and an enthusiastic response.

Smart Cockpit & Industrial Safety: Dual Solutions Unveiled
Beyond product breakthroughs, MFrontier also presented system-level solutions spanning from the perception layer to the application layer:
The Smart Cockpit solution focuses on in-cabin environmental sensing and intelligent interaction. Leveraging high-performance MEMS sensors and precision optical technology, it helps create a safer and more comfortable "third living space."
The Industrial Safety solution addresses critical scenarios such as equipment condition monitoring, gas safety alerts, and thermal anomaly detection. Utilizing highly sensitive gas and temperature sensing technologies with robust interference resistance, it establishes an intelligent safety defense for industrial production.
Both solution areas attracted a large number of industry professionals who stopped to engage in discussions regarding practical implementation.
